Getting Involved on Campus!

Participation in campus activities develops our members into well-rounded people.  The ladies of Chi Omega love to stay active and involved in as many campus activities as possible. We engage with others to develop outside interests and expose us to new and differing points of view. We are involved in a variety of clubs and organizations on campus, ranging from New Student and Transition Programs to the Society of Women Engineers.

intramurals, athletics, & more

Each quarter, Chi Omega participates in Cal Poly’s intramural sports. We pair up with numerous fraternities to compete in co-ed intramural sports, such as soccer, volleyball, or softball. We also participate in Panhellenic and IFC leagues, in which we play with and against other sororities and fraternities on campus. This quarter the Chi Omega ladies are participating in a Panhellenic soccer league and co-ed flag football!

The members of Chi Omega regularly attend athletic games together to support Cal Poly’s student athletes. We attend many athletic events, such as soccer, basketball, baseball, and rugby.

Greek week

One of our favorite weeks of the year is Greek Week, which occurs in Spring Quarter. Greek Week is an opportunity to pair with other Greek organizations in a weeklong competition. Throughout the week, the members get to meet members from other organizations, compete in athletic events, raise money for charity, donate blood, and much more.

While Chi Omega ties us together as sisters, being involved on campus allows our members to grow as passionate and unique individuals. By staying involved on campus, the ladies of Chi Omega are striving to achieve a well-rounded college experience.
